She volunteers with five different community service groups in North West River. Sarah also sits on the board of directors for the co-management board for Tungat (Torngat) Mountains National Park. Nationally, she has for years, and continues to do so, work on standardizing the Inuttitut language.
In her spare time, she likes to work on crafts, pick berries, cabin life, and a lot of grandparenting for busy parents. She especially looks forward to spring seal hunting on the sea ice with family and friends.
