Michael Winsor

Michael is an award-winning Canadian photographer and Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. He holds a degree in business management from Memorial University and is the founder and owner of Newfoundland Photo Tours, where he leads visitors on immersive photography experiences throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. Michael has more than fifteen years of experience teaching and guiding photographers of all levels.

His work has been featured internationally, including on a commemorative stamp. He has published his own bestselling photography book and is a three-time representative for Team Canada at the World Photographic Cup. Michael’s storytelling through imagery has earned him national recognition, including the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal for his contributions to Canadian culture and tourism.

With a passion for both adventure and education, Michael captures wildlife, landscapes, and cultural stories from around the world—from Arctic ice to African plains.
