Cathy Carroll

Cathy lives in Quidi Vidi, Newfoundland and Labrador. She has always loved nature, exploring, and learning. Whether it is swimming, sailing, skiing, hiking, biking, or camping, outside is her favourite place to be.

Cathy is a Paddle Canada certified Level 3 Skills sea kayaker and a Level 2 Instructor. She is three years retired from a well-loved career as a physical education teacher.

She is now enjoying sharing the sport of kayaking with others through her own business—The Newfoundland Kayak Company, formerly CC Kayaking.

Cathy is a mother of four, and has a six-year-old granddaughter, who steals her heart away! Besides outdoor pursuits, she enjoys reading, yoga, and making music with her family and friends. She loves meeting new people and learning about the lives of others from different places in our world.
