Solo Travelling & Sharing

Adventure Canada expeditions welcome many guests travelling independently. To support solo travellers, we offer a range of cabin options, including some dedicated solo cabins, shared accommodations, and same-gender roommate matching in select cabin categories.

Once dedicated solo cabins are sold out, single supplements apply to other cabin categories. Availability, sharing options, and single supplements vary by ship and cabin category and are outlined below. Not all options are available on every departure, so we encourage you to review the details or contact us for assistance in choosing the best fit. 

Solo cabins are available in Categories A and B. Solo occupancy in Categories 2–6 is available at 1.7× the cabin fare, while Categories 7–9 are available at 2.0× the cabin fare.

Solo cabins are available at 2.0× the cabin fare in Categories 2–5, with Category 6 reserved exclusively for solo travellers. 

Guests who prefer to share may choose a triple-share cabin or request to be matched with a same-gender roommate at no extra cost, based on availability. Same-gender roommate matching is available in Category 5 on Ocean Victory and Category 4 on Ocean Nova.
