Experience Inuit Nunangat alongside Inuit
Travel across Inuit Nunangat with Inuit cultural educators and expedition team members whose knowledge and experiences deepen our understanding of the region. Stories, conversations, and shared experiences reveal relationships with nuna (the land) that stretch across generations, offering perspectives grounded in contemporary Inuit life as well as enduring connections to land and sea.
Walk into the history of the Franklin Expedition
Visit Beechey Island National Historic Site, where the graves of three members of the Franklin Expedition and other physical traces offer a tangible connection to one of the Arctic’s best-known exploration stories. Here, European expedition history sits within a much older landscape of Inuit knowledge, travel, and presence.
Journey through Tallurutiup Imanga
Enter one of the defining marine landscapes of the eastern Canadian High Arctic. Tallurutiup Imanga encompasses towering cliffs, glaciers, islands, and productive waters that support seabirds and marine mammals. Travelling through this culturally significant region offers a powerful sense of the connections among ocean, wildlife, and Inuit homeland.

Meet the ice at Ilulissat
At Ilulissat, encounter a landscape in constant motion. The nearby Sermeq Kujalleq glacier feeds enormous volumes of ice into the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord, creating a shifting world of bergs and brash ice. Explore viewpoints from shore and, when conditions allow, take to the water for another perspective on this dynamic system.

Look for wildlife where land, sea, and ice meet
The High Arctic rewards attentive watching. From seabirds gathering along cliffs to marine mammals appearing in Arctic waters, wildlife encounters unfold according to conditions rather than schedules. Spend time on deck and ashore looking closely at the animals—and the habitats and ecological relationships that sustain them.
